It’s hard to even find the words to explain what the past 2 weeks have been like. Since my ATV accident, my body hasn’t felt like my own. I’ve been dealing with daily nosebleeds that come without warning, slurred speech that makes it difficult to express myself the way I used to, and a constant mental fog that leaves me feeling lost inside my own thoughts. Every single day is a battle — not just physically, but emotionally. The pain in my arm and back is excruciating — the kind of pain that doesn’t let you forget for even a moment what you’ve been through. Simple tasks that once felt automatic now require effort, patience, and strength I didn’t know I’d need so early in my life. On top of that, I’ve now been scheduled for a follow-up kidney surgery this February due to complications from my previous procedure.
