🇮🇸 Recently enjoyed an unforgettable road trip from Reykjavík to the north of Iceland for the fly-fishing experience of a lifetime. Immense thanks to the Olafsson family for the warm invitation and hospitality to join their family retreat—your kindness made my trip so special. I was there to celebrate my dear friend Finnur’s engagement (and soon-to-be wedding!), and what a way to mark the occasion. Katrin caught a nice salmon and I caught my first Arctic char, yeah it was small, but this city boy stepped into the river and made it happen!! I will never forget the magic of fly-fishing surrounded by jaw-dropping landscapes, big hearts, and unforgettable moments. I’m grateful for the new friends, new family, and memories I’ll carry forever. There are so many other special moments that didn’t make the cut because I was present.
