Sadhus live a simple lifestyle, hold few possessions, and live from the kindness of others. They’ve chosen to live on the edge of society to focus on their spiritual practice—achieving liberation from the death/rebirth cycle. They also kind of exude badassery. We paid the sadhus we photographed; more than happy to support them on their spiritual path and honour the deep work they do. That is also what is expected here which not many photographers disclose.
