I genuinely like to practice and I like to go through pain actually - otherwise it doesn’t explain why I pick up scenes I cannot paint to paint again and again. The top left quarter sheet was done 2 years ago. The rest are from last 10 days. Letting loose threads hang and then calling quits on them just because it must be hard is very distressing to me. I have actually been very satisfied in coming to the conclusion that I cannot do it. But the act of concluding by doing is my only way out. #practice #ipaintlikeanengineer
