Where the trees are, is the Île Rousseau, the last small man made island just before Rhône meets Lake Geneva. This was my workshop location for all three workshops as part of the 7th USk Swiss Symposium. The iconic ferris wheel and the fountain were constantly available but too hard to capture in a workshop that focused on big shapes. So tonight, on the last night of my long Europe trip, I sketched it from a bench. Photos of L’île Rousseau as I walked around it before returning to my hotel.
