Emotional Focus is a technique I apply in my creative process when I hand-cut a pattern. In this video, see my creative process in cutting art for a client’s wedding. While cutting art with knives, I bring to mind the frequency of prosperity and staying connected to the Spirit of the Mother through meditation. I meditate on the emotional quality of prosperity and Spirit of the Mother as I cut my pattern. Technically, I execute this by carving circles using coins as guides. I will carve diamond or gemstone shape patterns and also carve seeds, flora and fauna, to inspire our bright ideas.
