Barn dining area PROGRESS.
My boy hates pink, I mean viscerally dislikes it. My daughter and I LOVE it. So the moment he left home to go to Uni in September, we got out the paint brushes!
COLOUR - I hand mixed the colour myself, using Little Greene’s Carmine as a base and then adding white and a touch of orange - GingerGlow by Dulux.
I’ve decided to call the end result Rhubarb Pink. A delicious warm pink that just draws you over to that side of the barn to sit down, eat and socialize together. I haven’t painted the ceiling yet, because I’m planning a mural!
All the furniture is reused / secondhand / preloved - not sure how to categorize it really?
The CHAIRS are actually the blue ombré ones I had in the kitchen of my Crystal Palace flat, which my younger sister had originally passed on to me from her old kitchen. So this is their 6th colour incarnation! Again, a hand mixed pale puttyish pink.
