Sometimes nature takes care of the colour palette! Morning everyone, as you know, I love colour, but sometimes when you find a magnolia branch as beautiful as this sitting at the back of the flower bed, it has to take centre stage. And then the cat walks in and the colour palette is just perfect! This is Shelley. She’s a wild cat, we think she’s about 8yrs old and she came with the thelittlewildfarm. When we arrived she was very skittish and refused to step inside the house - the previous owners had spent years trying to persuade her. But last Autumn my daughter and one of our friends started gently coaxing her in bit by bit with treats and food. Then one day about 4 months ago she came inside on a chilly day, realized it was warm and cosy - and has never left! It’s a remarkable turn around. She’s now the friendliest little thing, loves affection and curls up on our laps. And the brilliant thing is, that being wild for 8yrs she does all her business outside, so no litter...
