Just thought I’d paint the sun back! So I’ve finally achieved some decor at thelittlewildfarm, despite the rapidly shifting weather from torrential rain to Mediterranean sun and blue skies. I thought painting the front door was going to be a quick job. But then I got up close to the porch roof and realized it was in a really terrible state - badly peeling paint, rotting wood, etc. So I spent most of the day restoring it, before the final fun of painting the whole thing and adding plants (thank you the_tin_cup_garden_co for helping choose them!). I’m really in to just using up leftover paint that I already have and trying to make it work. So this is a mix of leftover Chester Square (from the snug book shelves) and leftover Long Acre (from the Library bathroom). Both by mylands_london. About a 60:40 mix. The plants are a Eucalyptus Gunni on the left and a giant bonsai-like blue spruce (Christmas tree!) on the right - weird but strangely lovely. All terracotta pots found around...
