Schrödinger’s 🐈 house The scene tells us of an entire existence enclosed in one shot and recalls the often counterintuitive but revelatory mystery of a time that is not what we have always imagined. Among my experiences is the moment that best describes that paradox of modern physics that tries to explain to us that the past does not exist as it no longer exists, the future does not exist as it does not yet exist, while the present, as in this case, it seems to enclose them both in an eternal instant that separates the before from the after. Time thus becomes a place in space. We are in the north of Pakistan on the Afghan border where over the centuries the Waki people have settled and gave rise to small mountain communities. They inhabit wooden houses with typical decorated ceilings and large spaces for storing food and supplies of dried fruit, dried meat and hay.
