Volunteering has changed my life in many ways. And when I realised how insanely lonely the lockdown must have been for the elderly, I knew that was where I wanted to give more as soon as I could. I cannot stress how good it can feel to volunteer. We can call that selfish, but isn’t it beautiful to find a way to give back without exerting ourselves at the expense of it?
