Unfortunately, it seems like an apt time to post this. On such a paradisical planet filled with so much curious beauty and wonder, it’s a shame that humanity has created a life and history filled with the mark of our darkest impulses; greed, lust, the desire to dominate, hate, bigotry, provincialism, and the list goes on… It’s completely plausible that we could have created a life of cooperation and community, a setting where lives could thrive as they pursued their delights in life, but instead we have created a life of desperate competition, clawing each other down into the mire as we seek to raise ourself higher.
