They say “New Year, New You.” But it’s not that easy. And it’s not instant.
I disappeared for a year.
Entering 2026 as this version of me didn’t come from a simple calendar flip.
It came from surrender.
It took discipline and consistency.
It took forgiving myself and others.
Letting go of shame and resentments. Letting go of the past entirely.
Burying the old version of me. Never to dig him up again.
Now:

⚡ 441 days sober today. Choosing peace over chaos and presence over escape.
❤️ And a love that gives my work more vigor and intention. She reminds me a man’s worth isn’t only what he builds, but how he loves, how he leads, protects and provides.
