Night window, shooting through clouds as moonlight shines above and strikes the 25,295’ summit of Mount Jannu in Kanchenjunga Nepal. This was a 30 second exposure at 200mm f/4 ISO 1000.
Wish I would’ve shot more of these that night, perhaps some 20 minute exposures, but I couldn’t stay out late enough as the moon began to rise. Our guide didn’t quite understand that most of my shooting comes typically around sunrise or sunset and into the night. Kinda challenging as a photographer to eat when everyone else does on trips (even when it’s a solo trip it’s challenging)… it just doesn’t work out that way. Cold food or late meals are never something I’m concerned about, but whoever’s cooking is guaranteed to get offended, even if you stress to them this issue ahead of time. :) That’s just something only photographers would know!
