Loie is the daughter of Bill Belknap, a river pioneer and photographer. From documenting rivers to being a personal photographer for a US President, the stories Loie shared of her dad Bill were incredible. My personal favorite is knowing she’s been down the river with the late Katie Lee, a river activist and author known for her love of Glen Canyon and the Colorado River.
