Behind the scenes shooting a 4-hour (1,300 frame) timelapse in the High Uintas Wilderness of Utah. When evening arrives and everyone gets cozy, that’s when I gotta rally. I never find myself eating at normal hours when there’s great imagery to be had… everything is put on hold. Exhausted… wet… hungry… all that matters is capturing something beautiful, comfort and warmth will come later. Although challenging, these moments give me a unique experience , one that I get to share with you. On this particular night I definitely didn’t want to get out of my tent three times…putting on soaked hiking boots to change camera settings and batteries with temps in the 30’s. But each time I got down by the cold rushing creek (stoked to find my camera not in the creek), I was taken back at how beautiful the scene was… the reflection of the moonlight and the dancing smoke on the water. Solitude and beauty. #timelapseart #backpackinglife #btsphoto
