“Bundle of Autumn” This is one of my favorite autumn captures. There’s a layer of younger aspens growing underneath the canopy, creating a very unique perspective… as if you are between two layers or two canopy’s, I’d say similar to flying a plane between two sheets of cloud layers. Last week I hiked into this random location to shoot my first autumn images since 2021…when this was captured. I’ve dreamt of studio lighting this spot with 20 mini LED’s. Although within a couple days of this capture calendar wise, the scene was devoid of color…and more ground foliage has crept up, affecting the composition. It’s always surprising how conditions change, but I’m still hoping to create this idea next year.
