I was so scared of what people would think of the lyrics and how people may perceive me differently if they really knew what goes on inside my mind. It feels silly to admit that now, because I’m at a different point in life where I care WAY LESS about what people think. (Thank GAWD!) Life is short. You have to take risks & put yourself out there. And I’m at a point in life where I don’t have time to not be who I really am and not express what I really want to express.
