Just because you feel regret does not mean you deserve forgiveness. Saying sorry does not guarantee that someone has to accept it. There are choices that carry consequences too heavy for an apology to clear. Some damage cannot be undone. Some trust cannot be rebuilt. Some moments cannot be taken back.
Regret is a feeling. Consequence is reality.
You can feel sorry all you want, but feeling bad does not erase what you did. It does not make people obligated to forgive you. It does not entitle you to redemption. Some things leave marks that no apology can repair.
So think before you act. You can lose good people, destroy trust, and break something sacred in one moment of impulse or emotion. And sometimes the price you pay is permanent.
Act with awareness, not impulse. Because you can say sorry tomorrow, but you cannot always undo today.
