Anger is the flame, but pain is the fuel. If you’re quick to anger, it’s not the situation that’s the real problem. It’s the underlying pain that gets agitated every time something hits that nerve. Anger is just the defense mechanism that jumps out to protect you from feeling what actually hurts. If you want to be less reactive, you can’t just “control your anger.” You have to deal with the pain underneath it. Feel it. Address it. Process it. Release it. Treating a symptom never cures the cause. Extinguish the fuel and the fire dies on its own. #EmotionalMaturity #SelfAwareness #InnerWork #HealingJourney #KnowYourself #TraumaRecovery
