Masculine and feminine energies serve different functions, not competing ones. Most men are not threatened by women stepping into masculine traits. What creates friction is role confusion. Masculine roles are rooted in protection, provision under pressure, and responsibility in moments of risk. Those roles exist because of biological and historical realities, not insecurity. When a woman presents herself as occupying a masculine role while still expecting a man to fulfill masculine responsibilities, the mismatch creates tension. It is not fear. It is incongruence.
