chromasonic presented their first installation ‘Fluid State’ in a decommissioned limestone mine in Telluride during origthinkers in 2019 The 60-foot-long light and sound installation is suspended in the mine's longest shaft, a pitch-black void the length of a football field in the heart of the mountain. The work is composed of four connected spaces defined by translucent scrims and dimensional sound. Light generated from sound waves illuminates and activates each of the four chambers using Chromasonic Refrequencing. Awash in light and sound, you are in a timeless flow of perceptual awareness and interaction. #origibalthinkers #deepcreekexperimental #telluridearts #art #light #sound #chromasonic
