It’s film festival season in the region! I’m proud to share that I will be speaking at the first annual Oscar qualifying hollyshortsdubai happening in Dubai this weekend. We are living in a liminal era between analog and digital, truth and noise, local and global. This talk explores how filmmakers can use this in-between space as fertile ground for bold and necessary storytelling. I will speak about ambiguity as a creative strength, the rise of hybrid identities, and why audiences increasingly crave stories that sit in complexity rather than certainty.
