Housing is more than buildings; it’s about giving families, seniors, and working residents a place to call home. 🏡
Under this administration, the Kaua‘i County Housing Agency has delivered hundreds of homes and is planning thousands more, making the County the largest developer of affordable housing on the island. From Lima Ola and Ke Alaula to workforce rentals like Uahi Ridge and Koa‘e Makana, these projects provide homes for families who earn too much for subsidized housing but too little to compete in the open market.
The County is also tackling houselessness with full-service supportive housing, emergency shelter expansions, and partnerships with local nonprofits to provide stability and resources for those transitioning out of homelessness.
Through master-planned communities, rental programs, and homeownership opportunities, the Housing Agency is creating pathways for young people, working families, and seniors to stay on Kaua‘i and build their futures here.
