I have sailed all my life and surfed a lot when I was in Bali which should have meant kitesurfing was a no brainer, but I just looked out to sea at these kitesurfers doing their thing in complete awe, thinking, overthinking and studying their every move and commenting like a pro. lol.... But I was petrified of looking bad, stupid and not cool. The thing is, I had all the knowledge of the subject matter to execute, but I didn't. It took me 10 years to make the decision to fly a kite... . So when I finally executed, I was free, free of fear, expectation and perfectionism. It's literally bought me into a new life... .
