Would you do it?🤔 (Follow redwhiteadventures for more New Zealand tips 🫶🏼) The last time we visited Wānaka, we decided to be adventurous over getting our beauty sleep so we got up at 3am to hike to one of the most iconic sunrise spots in all of New Zealand: 📍 Roy’s Peak, Wānaka To be honest, we probably could’ve gotten up at 3:30 instead as we got to the peak almost 40 minutes before the sun started to rise — but we’d rather be early than late 😅 To get to this spot, you have to drive 10 minutes from Wānaka and hike up 8km with almost 1300 meters of elevation 🏔️ It’s a tough one but so worth it!
