A friend of ours recently asked us when we last took time off. Like proper time off with no work, no social media, just pure vacation — and we realized that it had been too long… 🫣 So we decided to take a full week off last week and it was incredible! The first few days we spent in our old stomping grounds in Milford Sound with some friends where we enjoyed the rain, the waterfalls, and did an awesome hike ⛰️☔️🫶🏼 After Milford, we said goodbye to our friends and headed off to a quiet little farm stay with sheep in our backyard, fresh cow milk, a fireplace, no wifi, and beautiful sunsets. We spent the time playing games, relaxing, and reading and it was exactly what we needed before the last 3 days of our vacation where we did The Hump Ridge Track — the newest addition to New Zealand’s “Great Walks”.
