Spent an incredible 14 days exploring #Nuristan, a hidden gem in #Afghanistan. From the picturesque districts of Parun, Waigal, and Kamdesh, this province is a true natural wonderland. Green mountains, forests, and rivers abound, creating a breathtaking backdrop. Nuristan is like Pandora in Afghanistan, blessed with stunning nature, hidden gems, and lithium deposits. This remote corner is home to a remarkable people with their own language, unique culture, and cherished traditions. But life here hasn't been easy for the locals. Isolation from the rest of the country due to conflict and poverty has posed challenges. We had the privilege of immersing ourselves in the beauty, sitting down with the resilient locals, listening to their hardships, and seeking ways to make a difference.
