I didn’t know what software was in 2016. Welcome to Day 2 of my “Things That Shaped Me” Series I was raised in northern Indiana, across the street from a corn field. Women in my town were primarily teachers, nurses or moms. Hence my teaching degree. Our bath towels were always strained and frayed. Our socks never matched. We went school/clothes shopping once a year. Goodwill was a hot spot ✌️ I had two aeropostale shirts and I was really proud of them. I wore them every week. My home was full of love. My parents always encouraged me to be brave and try new things. My dad didn’t have a son for 8 more years, so he taught me how to be one. I often dreamed of having nice bath towels and shopping sprees. But it wasn’t the desire for nice bath towels that got me here, it was having encouraging and loving parents. Because when you have two people who believe in you, your whole life. Wow does that matter. For that I am grateful. #techsales #mystory #softwaresales #johndeere
