Why I built mytriplink.me ; ⁣ ⁣ Most of my life has been defined by a commitment to safety and security. ⁣ ⁣ As a former police officer and later a security consultant operating in some of the world’s most challenging environments, I’ve seen firsthand what happens when protocols fail and when individuals lack the critical intelligence needed to navigate risk.⁣ ⁣ While I was equipped to handle complex security situations, I realised my family back home was often left with a ‘protocol gap’. ⁣ ⁣ They knew I was safe, but they didn’t have the granular context – my exact itinerary, local contacts, or emergency plans – that would allow them to act decisively if something went wrong.
