We stayed at tapnellfarmpark and TomsEcoLodge , it’s one of those places you could return to again and again. There’s a whole selection of different places to stay — from safari tents to lodges — but we chose a Modulog, which sleeps up to six. Ours had a barbecue outside, a fire pit, and the clear winner of the trip… the hot tub. One night, my seven-year-old was sipping strawberry lemonade in the hot tub, staring up at the stars, and declared it “the best night ever.” That pretty much summed it up for the kids There are so many animal experiences — you can get up close to the wallabies, meet the donkeys, and even take part in a create-a-bug-hotel event. Over half term there was a huge Bouncy Barn, and they’ve got some brilliant events coming up for Easter too. It’s the kind of place you can stay for a while.
