I had the priviledge of meeting this extraordinary woman last night and I wanted share her story... Heidi is an outgoing fun mum of 6 children and she runs our own events business in stockport with her husband David. In May 2017, she suffered from a fit, which in turn resulted in the discovery and diagnosis of a Stage 4 Tumour in her brain (glioblastoma). In June 2017 she had a debulking procedure. Then 4 weeks later she had 33 lots of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Her last treatment was in May, which turned out to be the only one this year, due to the fact it was beginning to make her very ill. So now they are looking at leading Immunotherapy Treatment only available in Germany at the Hallwang Clinic. A stay of 1 week, then a possible stay of another 4 weeks. The treatment works by raising her core body temperature to 40 degrees, creating an inhospitable environment for the cancer and in turn killing it off.
