They said it couldn’t be done… I was warned that the Res would be difficult and I knew I had my work cut out for me starting a 3 week campaign on a massive piece of water at the end of NOVEMBER! There is very limited information on this place so to make matters worse I was going in blind 🙈 as always with any campaign consistency is key 🔑 and regular trips round the m25 to keep the bait going in was ultimately the catalyst to my success. Long range with the carplounge_tackle RT4, Strong reliable tackle, simple rigs and the results came on week 2 and 3. This lake is an incredible experience, amazing views, so much wildlife and one of the quietest places I’ve been to in the UK! I will definitely be back for another go next year but as always my time is limited so whether or not I get to give it another ‘proper’ go we will have to see!
