Do you Pre Stretch!? Another little tip for you, this one will keep your line from flying off your spools when you put on fresh line and will also take out a load of that initial stretch and twist that we get with fresh mono. Remember it’s a good idea to soak your spools in water for a good few hours before starting and always keep it under tension with a wet cloth when you are reeling it on to your spools.
