5 days at Blue Lake 👇🏻 Well what a few days fishing that was! A mega session with my good buddy jefgoossens.nt Between us we managed to catch around 45 carp to 40lb and a beautiful diamond backed sturgeon! despite the weather still being cold the fish were well up for it and baiting heavy in the shallower water was the key to our success. The silt channels between the gravel bars were the key to unlocking this lake with depths from 5-8ft. Most runs came in the evenings and at first light. ccmooreuk pro stim liver and Odysey XX really got them on the munch which resulted in a mega session. Although we didn’t manage to catch any of the really big ones that live here the action was brilliant and a few days on the bank with friends is what it’s all about about.
