48hrs on embryoangling North bank 👀👇🏻 A quick visit to shoot an upcoming podcast with clubmate.fish and we braved the freezing temps to try and catch a few scaley ones. Starting the session in swim 4 it was clear the fish weren’t moving into my water so after a quick overnighter in swim 4 I moved all my kit over to swim 9 where I’d seen a large group of carp patrolling the margins. I found some nice clear areas in amongst the weed and used the bait boat to drop the rigs on to very small spots. Short Ronnie rigs and 14mm ccmooreuk pop ups of various colours went out for the last night and in the early hours the right hand rod that was in 5ft of water was away. A short battle ensued and the beautiful block of ice graced my net to save a very difficult and cold trip.
