It doesn’t have to be a detailed one but you at least need a heading or a rough destination so the first question is: 1. What do you want? First things first you need to decide what you want from your fishing. Do you want to be all alone on an island in the middle of the wilderness without a soul in sight or do you want to contend with other anglers in pursuit of potentially bigger carp? 2. How far are you willing to go? Some of the most remote and untouched locations are further south in Europe. This means 20+ hours of driving before you even get a rod out! 3.
