BIG WINTER CARP!! Keep reading… Christmas is around the corner and temperatures are dropping 🥶 but for those brave enough to embrace the cold there are mega opportunities to be had. Water temps are un seasonally low right now and it has slowed down a lot of productive lakes across the UK. That doesn’t mean the carp have completely switched off but it does mean staying motivated and getting out on the bank is a little more difficult. Here’s some things to do to keep you comfortable and motivated over the winter ❄️ Layer up with thermal layers to stay warm. A warm angler is a happy angler so don’t be rocking up in your shorts and a body warmer if the sun happens to be out on your way to the lake 🤣 ☀️ Bring a flask filled with a hot drink. Nothing beats a hot brew if you’re down for a day session and don’t have room for the stove and kettle. Invest in a comfortable chair and bedchair to make those long hours more comfortable.
