At the launch of jala_dubai Dubai’s newest Pan Asian restaurant with unmistakable Miami energy, set on the rooftop terrace of Studio One Hotel. The drinks were playful and unexpected. My favourite was the Shigga Pandan, a gin based cocktail with fresh lemonade and a subtle hint of pandan. We followed that with a generous spread of sushi. The best way to experience the menu is their Main Signature Platter. Standouts for us were the Jala Egg Noodles, Beef Kushiyaki and Roast Duck. We ended with Red Bean Mochi and stayed on to soak in the breezy terrace ambience and beautiful Dubai weather.
