This is one of my go-to ways to add volume and life to a bob, and it’s super easy. All you need are a few of your grandma’s rollers, a good setting spray, and a bit of heat. Bonus: you can let it set while you brush your teeth or do your makeup. 🙌
Step 1:
Start with a setting spray. I love Hair Love Prep Spray by innersenseorganicbeauty for lightweight hold and added texture.
Step 2:
Section your hair, starting at the front, and roll each piece backward. Keep each section no wider than the roller.
Hot tip: The smaller the roller, the more wave you’ll get.
Step 3:
Work your way to the sides. Over-direct each section before rolling it back—this gives you that extra volume at the root.
Step 4:
Apply heat. A diffuser works great—blast the rollers with warm air for about 5 minutes, then let them cool completely.
