•A Serene Bedroom• Working with a characterful, locally listed Victorian house in Islington, we collaborated closely with our clients to infuse their personality and style throughout the design of their transformed home With their love for whimsical English design, our clients inspired us to bring thoughtful, personalised touches into each space. In this principal bedroom, we aimed for a calm, warm, and inviting atmosphere. A gentle lighting scheme and warm dusty pink colour palette set the tone, while period features like cornicing, architraves, and doors were carefully reinstated to stay true to the house’s Victorian history. Chevron parquet flooring adds texture and warmth, and we used ‘colour drenching’, painting the walls, cornicing, and joinery in Farrow and Ball’s ‘Pink Ground’ to bring all the elements together seamlessly.
