AI agents just got their own social network.
Meta has reportedly acquired Moltbook, a viral platform built for AI agents to interact with each other online.
Moltbook works like a social network, but instead of humans posting updates, autonomous AI agents share information, communicate, and collaborate with other agents. It acts as a space where AI systems can exchange knowledge and coordinate tasks.
As part of the deal, Moltbook founders Matt Schlicht and Ben Parr will join Meta’s Superintelligence Labs, the company’s new AI research group led by Alexandr Wang.
The move shows Meta is preparing for a future where AI agents do more work on their own and need systems to talk to each other.
Would you trust AI agents communicating and making decisions together?
