DAY 1 – ARRIVING IN ISTANBUL 🇹🇷✈️ We’ve landed and the tkchealth.tr team were there waiting for us at the airport straight away. Honestly they’ve been so friendly, welcoming and reassuring already which has really put me at ease. They brought us straight to the hotel, gave us a little tour of the room and made sure we had everything we needed before tomorrow. Of course we had to get a last kebab in before surgery because I can’t eat before my operation tomorrow morning 😂 Surgery is booked for 10:30am tomorrow and I’m feeling a mix of excited and nervous but mostly just ready to get it done now!
