Lundean’s Nek Pass (2170m | 7120 ft)
Coming from Lesotho through Telle Bridge Border Post, I followed the Telle River that separates Lesotho and South Africa in this area.
Then I headed to Lundean’s Nek Pass. At 2170 meters, it is an underrated gravel pass. Often overlooked by most, it claims a 1:25 average gradient. With barely any traffic and raw, rugged terrain, this high-altitude trail offered pure overlanding bliss. The Drakensberg views were incredible, and having the route mostly to myself made it feel like I had the entire wilderness in my backyard. If you’re looking for a hidden gem, this one’s worth the climb.
