Refuelling from Jerricans I often see overlanders taking their jerricans off their roof racks to refuel, struggling to put them back afterward, only to repeat the same process to refuel their vehicle. Am I just lazy? Personally, I get on the roof rack and refill my jerrycans directly. When it’s time to refuel, I leave the jerrycans in place and use a shake siphon hose pump. Sure, the standard hose is too short, so I measured the distance between my furthest jerrycan and the tank inlet. Then I swapped out the hose for a longer one, keeping the same shake siphon. The real question is—why am I the only one doing this? #Overlanding #OverlandingAfrica #OffRoading #LandCruiser79 #AdventureTravel #SelfSufficiency #RoofRackHacks #SafariLife #OverlandCamping #OffGridTravel #JerryCanHack #FuelManagement #MudDustOverlanding
