Why I Did A PhD I often ask myself why did I do one? Looking back it wasn’t the title, the accreditation or degree. I realised it was an incredible opportunity to see what I am truly capable of. As I have mentioned many times before, for me the PhD moulded me into who I am now. 
The bonus was the title and degree.
