How To Write A PhD Thesis | The “3 Hour Writing Week” I only wrote 3 hours per day when I wrote my PhD Thesis That sounds crazy right? You part time slacker! But it turns out I was way more effective sticking to this routine. I ended up finishing the thesis in only a few months. 
What was the secret though? Taking lots of mini breaks throughout the day. But when I was in the zone tons of quality writing took place, pages were filled up and then when I was struggling a bit I play a mission in a game or took a walk and listened to a podcast
