My name is Mari V. Fallat. I am an artist living and working in Los Angeles, California, as well as in Kaliningrad ( Königsberg )and Moscow, Russia. My art work explores feminine’s energy and the history of women around the world — the woman as muse, lover, and mother; sexuality, sensuality, the many shades of love and emotion, and the light and shadow of human nature. I am inspired by dreams, rituals, the masks people wear, the games people play, and the dreams that pass through the filter of the subconscious, transforming into symbols. My inspiration also comes from the beauty of natural femininity and masculinity, from the rituals that shape our world, from deep sexuality, and from the illusory nature of reality — the stage on which we play endless roles in search of our true selves.
