Last week, I was standing in line at Harvard University- with my book in hand, waiting to take the obligatory photo with the John Harvard statue (I mean, why not?)
What happened while I was waiting was powerful.
I struck up a conversation with a family next to me. They were visiting from Florida and asked about the book I was holding.
I told them I’d written it. Conquer Your Imposter™ 📕 As soon as I mentioned Imposter Syndrome, something shifted.
The conversation deepened.
The man was an engineer.
The woman a CPA.
Both instantly shared stories, experiences, and reflections on how they’ve seen Imposter Syndrome in their careers / across their industries.
They both had a strong understanding of Imposter Syndrome yet neither had experienced it, which I loved to hear.
It was a fun and fascinating conversation.
Right there, among strangers, across professions, countries & backgrounds…
Connection happened.
