🌿 JĀNU MARMA
✨ The Sacred Knee Point of Stability & Flow
🦵 Where Is It?
Jānu Marma is located at the junction of the thigh and shin — the center of the knee. It’s one of the 18 principal marma points recognized in Yoga and Āyurveda.
📍 Vital for balance, mobility, and lower body strength.
📍 Governs the flow of apāna vāyu — the downward-moving energy.
🌀 Why It Matters in Yoga
Jānu Marma activates the grounding force in āsana.
It supports rootedness in standing postures.
Enhances energy flow in seated meditations.
Connects the hips to the earth through the legs.
🔥 How To Activate It
🧘♂️ Hold a firm but mindful pressure during padmāsana prep.
🧘♀️ Breathe into the knees during vīrabhadrāsana (warrior poses).
🌬️ Use exhalation to guide prāṇa down through the knees into the feet.
💡 Yogic Insight
